Champions of Character

You're Invited to Invest in the Mission of the Prattville-Autauga Character Coalition

The Prattville-Autauga Character Coalition is proud to host our annual Champions of Character event. The 2023 event will be honoring our Champion of Character, Coach Butch Thompson. Mark your calendars for Thursday, August 17, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the Robert Trent Jones Clubhouse in Prattville.

The Prattville-Autauga Character Coalition, a non-profit organization established in 2007 with the purpose of strengthening our community by fostering character development and education among our citizens, established the Champion of Character Award in 2015 to honor leaders that have displayed exemplary character and encouraged living and leading with good character in daily life. Coach Thompson was named Auburn's head baseball coach on October 22, 2015, and entered his eighth season at the helm of the program in 2023. He has displayed determination, wisdom, generosity and gratefulness as he has guided the Auburn baseball team to two College World Series appearances. During his career, he has coached one national champion and a national runner-up, won nine conference championships and made 18 postseason appearances.

The event will feature a silent auction, dinner and live music from Gypsy Cornbread. You do not want to miss out!
